With unique, hand-drawn illustrations—keywords worked subtly into the design of each image—and a guidebook filled with hopeful messages, quotes, and spreads, this deck invites readers of all levels to work intuitively with the cards for insight and guidance.

Journey into this whimsical world of self-discovery and archetypes and meet two original cards that infuse the major arcana with powerful energy: “The Mother Star” and “The Creator.”

My name is Cat Pierce and I’m the artist and author of The Wandering Star Tarot Deck & Guidebook. I’m known primarily as singer and songwriter from the band, The Pierces. If you’re a fan of the tv show “Pretty Little Liars”, then you’ve most likely heard the theme song that we penned and performed, “Secret”. When not making music, I love to paint, draw, and dabble in the mystical and magical.

The first card I drew the for this deck 7 years ago was The Star card. As I sketched and inked, and painted, one of my favorite songs “Wandering Stars” by Portishead came on the stereo and serendipitously inspired the title of the deck. Overtime, in between touring, recording, and partaking in plant medicine ceremonies, I slowly added to the deck card by card. Finally, while stuck in quarantine due to our global pandemic, I was able to complete the cards and sit in meditative solitude to channel the guidebook. So in the tumultuous year of 2020, after 7 years of labor, The Wandering Star Tarot Deck was finally born!
