Customer service

We can fully understand that you are really looking forward to receiving your order. You will therefore receive updates from us about your order:

You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail when your order has been successfully placed.

We will send you a packing confirmation when your order has been packed in our warehouse.

You will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail when your package is on its way. This will also contain the Track & Trace code which will allow you to follow your order.

If you want your order to be sent to an alternative address because you are not at home or because your order is a gift – please enter this address during payment. It is also possible to have your package delivered to a service point and collect it at a time that suits you. You can choose this option during the order process. You will receive the invoice via the submitted e-mail address, while the package is sent to the selected delivery address.

Want to return your product? This can be done within 90 days after receipt of your order (postage to be paid by the customer).

Products are eligible for return under the following conditions:

  • The cards must still be in the sealed packaging. We cannot accept packaging that has already been opened.
  • We can only accept the returns when the order, where possible is: sent undamaged, in the original packaging and in a sturdy shipping box. We retain the right to refuse the return or to charge for the damage of products which are damaged or show signs of use,

Obviously, we want you to fully enjoy your products. We would therefore like to hear from you if you have complaints about our products and/or services.

If you have a TAROT.NL account, you can change your account details yourself. It is very easy to change your name, delivery and invoice address or password:

  • Go to account in the menu and log in with your e-mail address and password.
  • Click on “My account” to change your name or password.
  • To change your address, go to “Addresses”.

If you have forgotten your password you can request a new one via our website. You will then receive instructions by e-mail on how to reset your password, which will allow you to make full use of your account again.

You can sign up for loyalty points by creating an account via the website. Anyone who has an account and places an order automatically saves points (you will not receive the points until payment has been made via the site).

1.1 The agreement for purchase and sale is concluded at the moment of acceptance by the consumer of the offer and compliance with the corresponding conditions. The version of the General Terms and Conditions that applied at the time of the conclusion of the agreement always applies, unless the buyer has accepted the validity of a revised version of the General Terms and Conditions after the conclusion of the agreement.

1.2 Koppenhol Uitgeverij B.V. is entitled to terminate the agreement if Koppenhol Uitgeverij has good grounds to believe that the consumer will not be able to meet their obligation. If an order is not accepted or if further conditions are attached to it, Koppenhol Uitgeverij will give reasons for this within ten days of receiving the order.


2.1 The prices stated for the products and services offered are in euros, including VAT and excluding handling and shipping costs, any taxes or other levies, unless stated otherwise or agreed in writing.

2.2 Payment must be made without discount or compensation within fourteen (14) days after the invoice date if it concerns deliveries within the Netherlands, and within twenty-one (21) days after the invoice date if it concerns deliveries outside the Netherlands, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Payment can be made by bank, giro or via Paypal. The total price will be disclosed before the agreement is concluded.

2.4 If the payment term is exceeded, you will be in default from the day that payment should have been made and from that day you will owe default interest on the outstanding amount per month or part of a month. if Koppenhol Uitgeverij outsources its claim to a collection agency , you will also be liable for the collection costs.

2.5 If you are in default with any payment, Koppenhol Uitgeverij is, if reasonably entitled, to suspend or terminate (the implementation of) the agreement and related agreements.

2.6 If the prices for the products and services offered increase in the period between the order and the execution thereof, you are entitled to cancel the order or to terminate the agreement after notification of the price increase by Koppenhol Uitgeverij.


We strive to deliver the product within 3 working days. The product will be delivered within 30 days of ordering at the latest. If this is not possible 3.1 (order temporarily out of stock) or if there is a delay for another reason, or an order cannot be executed or only partially executed, you will receive a message within 1 month of placing the order and you can cancel the order without charge.

3.2 The delivery of the products takes place, at the place and time when the products are ready for shipment to you.


4.1 The ownership of the products supplied will only transfer if you have paid everything that you owe to Koppenhol Uitgeverij pursuant to any agreement. The risk with regard to the products is transferred to you at the time of delivery.


5.1 You must fully and unconditionally respect all intellectual and industrial property rights that rest on the products supplied by Koppenhol Uitgeverij.


6.1 Koppenhol Uitgeverij recommends inspecting the delivered goods immediately upon receipt and to report any defects found, in writing within a reasonable time.

6.2 If it has been demonstrated that the products do not comply with the agreement, you have the option to replace the relevant products with new products upon their return.


7.1 The offer will also include a trial period of at least seven working days, starting on the day following receipt by or on behalf of you, (unless otherwise agreed in accordance with paragraph 3.)

7.2 During the trial period you have the right to cancel, whereby you have the option of returning the received goods without any obligation on your part, other than the compensation for the direct costs of return.

7.3 Limitations or exclusions of the trial period – based on the specific nature of the goods in question – will be clearly stated in the offer.

7.4 During this period you will handle the product and the packaging with care. You will only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep the product. If you exercise your right to cancel, you will return the product with all supplied accessories – if reasonably possible – in the original packaging to Koppenhol Uitgeverij, in accordance with the instructions provided by Koppenhol Uitgeverij.

7.5 You are responsible for the shipping costs for returns.

7.6 In the event of payment in advance, Koppenhol Uitgeverij will refund the purchase amount to you within 30 days, including the costs of shipment paid.


8.1 If you provide Koppenhol Uitgeverij with a written statement of an address, Koppenhol Uitgeverij is obliged to send all orders to that address, unless you submit a written statement to Koppenhol Uitgeverij providing another address to which your orders must be sent.

8.2 If one or more of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions or any other agreement with Koppenhol Uitgeverij should conflict with any applicable legal provision, the relevant provision will lapse and it will be replaced by a new legally permissible law to be determined by Koppenhol Uitgeverij (similar provision).


9.1 It is possible that you are not satisfied with a product and / or service. Please contact us as soon as possible, preferably by e-mail at: [email protected] We will respond to your complaint within 30 days at the latest.

9.2 The aforementioned does not affect the right to submit a dispute to the competent court. 

9.3 Only Dutch law applies to the agreement and these general terms and conditions.

We really appreciate it when bloggers want to write product reviews. Unfortunately, we cannot provide everyone with free products. Your blog must meet a number of conditions. For example, you must have a minimum number of visitors per month and the quality of your review will also be taken into consideration.

We are happy to receive and review your ideas. We would like to ask you to read our guidelines first:

  1. Please send your manuscript by e-mail and not by post.
  2. Make it clear in your accompanying e-mail who you are, what the title is and to which genre it belongs, and briefly describe the content of your script in no more than two paragraphs.
  3. Please address your manuscript to: [email protected]
  4. Our publishing house receives a lot of manuscripts every year, please take into account a review period of at least 2 weeks.
  5. Given the large number of manuscripts, we are unable to send correspondence with regards to manuscripts which are declined.
  6. For your information: we only issue cards in Dutch and we do not publish books.
