Description
Oracle of the Black Enchantment is an Oracle deck published in 2018 by Patrick Valenza, co-author of Deviant Moon Tarot and Trionfi della Luna Tarot, which has been quite popular in the dark decks community. The production is said to have been created in 1933 by Mildred Payne, a woman who was sent to Fenwood mental hospital by her father because she thought she was constantly talking to her “imaginary friends”. During her stay, Mildred continued to use the mysterious Oracle deck she created to contact these “friends”.
Oracle of Black Enchantment Midnight Edition includes 54 leaves about 9.5 x 15 cm in size with horizontally drawn images covered in extremely mysterious and unique blue tones. Try spreading the cards under different UV light conditions, especially at night, to feel the mystery of the strokes on these tones. To download the PDF manual, visit http://deviantmoon.com/obe.htm.
Alternatively, you can buy the standard version with the original color scheme at Mildred Payne’s Oracle of Black Enchantment, the orange tone at the Oracle of Black Enchantment Samhain Edition or the red tone at the Oracle of Black Enchantment Blood Edition.
Beautiful oracle deck with whimsical artwork. The cards are smooth and quite sturdy, but easy to shuffle. The accompanying booklet is downloadable and has both a dark and a light meaning for each card. The cards I pulled were on point. The only downside: the cards are quite large, which makes shuffling a bit difficult if you have smaller hands.
