You’re being urged to establish clearer boundaries in your life. This could involve your friends, family, or work. Saying YES when you genuinely mean NO leads to resentment, which is a significant energy drain. Initially, it might seem insignificant, but over time, your energy field becomes porous, leaving you feeling depleted, resentful, or exploited.
Boundaries as a Spiritual Act
Establishing clear boundaries is a spiritual act. The most generous, loving, compassionate individuals are those with the clearest boundaries. When they say YES, they give unconditionally. Clear boundaries provide others with clarity about their standing, enabling you to give freely. Unclear boundaries lead to confusion, resentment, and the creation of energetic cords.

If you find yourself saying YES when you mean NO, you likely need something. Ask yourself, what part of me NEEDS something from them? It could be a need for approval, a fear of being perceived in a certain way, or a fear of loss.
