There are portals everywhere
Similar to a tarot deck, Open Portals can be used as an Oracle deck for meditation and reflection. Within the Oracle manual that comes with each deck are the meanings behind all 56 cards. This is a deck about duality: there is an upside and a downside to everything. You can choose to read the upside for cards that are face up and the downside for cards that are upside-down. But some cards, like the face cards, do not have a right side up, so you will have to use your intuition to guide you. Open Portals can be used in any of the classic tarot spreads, but below are four suggested spreads using the energy of the Myths. The Myth cards tell the story of Open Portals and each has its own associated spread to offer enlightenment or interpretation on a particular situation. All of the cards are thematic based on their suit and number. For example, all ‘2’ Portal cards are controlled by Fear, whereas ‘5’ Portal cards represent Change. The Gods, Magics and Myths each represent something unique.

THE MYTH OF KUZO is useful when seeking insight on the future of an unfolding event or journey. As the first spirit to exist, Kuzo became the gatekeeper between the spirit world and the physical world.
Begin this reading by taking Kuzo out of the deck, he will be placed in the center of the spread as you call upon his energy for this reading. Shuffle the deck three times, split it in three and then begin revealing cards from the top of the stack.
The first card, The Significator, is important because it symbolizes the character of this journey. The following 11 cards depict the journey, with cards 4 and 8 representing key moments of enlightenment or challenges. Take note if a particular suit shows up often or if you summon many Gods. When Gods or Myth cards show up in a reading they indicate a strong force of energy or change in Character.
