Jay R. Rivera is a Spanish-American author, empath, medium, and tarot reader living in Texas, USA. His breakthrough came with his award-winning and best-selling debut publication, Beautiful Creatures Tarot, which brought him international acclaim.Jay R. graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. He specialized in interpersonal and intercultural communications and minored in French and Spanish language studies, focusing on language translations. After graduating, he spent significant time working as a language translator and instructor.In his spare time, Jay R. enjoys studying and learning new languages and cultures, writing short fiction stories, reading and watching horror books and movies, and performing shadow work tarot/oracle readings for people. He also volunteers and advocates for animal welfare and women’s and LGBTQI rights.
