Green Glyphs Runes

James R. Eads designed this rune card deck because he struggled to connect the Nordic symbols to their meanings when he first started studying runes. Each card pairs the runic symbol and its traditional name with an illustration that makes the meaning visible. The 33 cards cover the 24 classical runes (Elder Futhark) plus 9 Anglo-Saxon runes that you can include or remove as you prefer.

The imagery is abstract and full of movement, drawing comparisons to Blake in both colour and mythological depth.
