Alexandra Eldridge

Alexandra Eldridge, born to artist parents, earned her BA in Art and Literature at Ohio University. She furthered her education at Cambridge University, Santa Reparata Graphic Workshop in Florence, Penland College, and most recently The Photographer’s Formulary in Montana. She co-founded Golgonooza, an arts establishment based on William Blake's philosophies. Alexandra has had over forty solo shows and participated in numerous group shows throughout the U.S. and internationally.Her work has been exhibited in cities such as Paris, London, Belgrade, Ljubljana, New York, California, and Santa Fe. Alexandra has been commissioned to paint murals in the Place de Vosges, Paris, and her artwork has graced the covers of twenty-four poetry books. Traveling, a significant source of inspiration for her, has led her to artist residencies on Elba Island, Italy, and the Valparaiso Foundation in Almeria, Spain. Her work is included in the collections of William Hurt, Steve Buscemi, and Edie Falco, among other prestigious collections, and she has been featured in publications like Art News, Art LTD, Art On Paper, New American Painting, and One Hundred Painter’s of the Southwest.
