Amber Hatch is the author of five books on mindfulness and parenting, with her work translated into 17 languages. She is a parent of three and worked as a childminder for ten years. Amber developed a baby-led method for potty training from birth and became the UK’s leading authority on the subject.Her Buddhist meditation practice and teaching have been a major influence in her life. While volunteering for the mental health charity Mind, she put together and delivered a course on Writing for Wellbeing. She also taught writing skills at Oxford University.In addition to her non-fiction work, Amber writes children’s fiction and placed joint second in the inaugural Yoto Audio Maker Competition (2023) with a story exploring the challenges facing refugees.Alongside her own writing, Amber provides literary consultancy and also works as a ghostwriter.
