Kachina Mickeletto is a writer and high school librarian. Born in Kansas City in 1980, she attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where she earned a B.A. in Creative Writing. Her first novel, "The Keeper," was published in 2000.When she isn’t reading or writing, Kachina enjoys road trips, yoga, and spending time with animals and nature. She lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband Nick and their children Theodore and Eleanor.
