How do I recognise a trustworthy webshop for tarot cards?
Choosing a reliable tarot webshop
Are you wondering how to recognise a trustworthy tarot card webshop before you order?
Searching online for tarot cards can be a joy. You scroll through illustrations that inspire you and find new interpretations and colours that speak to you straight away. Still, a small voice sometimes asks: “Is this really a safe place to order?” That feeling is natural. Tarot cards are personal, and you choose something that may stay with you for years. You want a webshop that treats your cards with the same care you would. Below you can read how to recognise a reliable shop, and which values we follow at Tarot.nl.
What a trustworthy tarot card webshop feels like
A trustworthy webshop feels organised and calm. Instead of loud banners, you find clear product pages with carefully made photographs. We want you to know exactly what you are choosing. That is why we always list details such as the dimensions in mm, the number of cards, information about the companion booklet, the publisher and the correct ISBN number.
Every set in our shop is entered and checked by hand, so the information matches exactly what arrives at your door.
Shipping from our own stock
Many shops ship cards directly from abroad. That can mean long delivery times, unexpected import costs or even counterfeit products. We work differently: everything you see is physically stored in our own warehouse in the Netherlands. We pack and ship orders ourselves, so the process stays transparent and you avoid unpleasant surprises.
Authentic tarot cards
As tarot becomes more popular, counterfeit cards turn up more often. You need to be able to trust that your deck is the real thing. With every set, we provide:
- Names: the full names of the creator and the illustrator.
- Publisher and ISBN: the correct ISBN number and the official publisher.
- Photographs: pictures that match the physical product.
We buy only from recognised publishers and distributors, so you can be sure your set is authentic and complete. That includes decks by independent makers: you will find the same details with every set in our indie tarot decks.
Real people with real expertise
“It brings peace of mind to know there are real people behind a webshop.”
When you have a question about a particular set or your delivery, you reach someone who works with tarot cards every day. We know our collection and are happy to help you think through your choice.
We also like sharing what we know through blog articles, tips for beginners and guidance to help you find the set that suits your way of reading.
Genuine reviews
Reviews tell you a lot about a shop. We use an independent review system, so you get an honest impression from other customers about our delivery, packaging and service.
Confidence in your choice
A reliable tarot webshop gives you room to choose without pressure. We want to offer a place where you can pick your cards with confidence.
