Angelic Vibrations Oracle - fifty angel portraits in surrealist style
Josephine Wall paints angels the way Salvador Dalí might have. Her work for this deck is full of colour, floats between dream and reality, and does not reveal itself in a single glance. The fifty cards are not classic angel illustrations. They are portraits where faces, wings, flowers and celestial bodies flow into one another.
The deck is published by Findhorn Press in December 2024. The guidebook runs to 128 pages and contains detailed descriptions for each card. The messages are gentle and guiding, intended for reflection and daily use.
What you see on the cards
The images are detailed and full. Wall uses colour gradients, natural elements and symbolic objects that overlap. Each card contains multiple layers: a face, a landscape, an animal, often all at once.
The style is surrealism with influences from the Pre-Raphaelites. That means the images are dreamlike, but also technically precise. Details such as leaves, jewellery and light are carefully worked out.
How you can work with it
The guidebook gives a description and a message for each card. But the cards also lend themselves to intuitive reading. The rich images invite you to pick one detail and focus your attention there.
Many people use this deck for daily cards or meditation. The messages are supportive and not confrontational.
Choose one detail in the illustration and hold it during a short meditation. The symbolism often unfolds more slowly than the written text in the guidebook.
About Josephine Wall
Josephine Wall is a British artist who works from her studio in Dorset. Her style is inspired by surrealists such as Dalí and by the Pre-Raphaelites. Her work revolves around fantasy, nature and the thin line between the two.
She creates illustrations intended to take the viewer to another world. You see that in this deck as well.

Questions we often get
Are the cards and guidebook in English?
Yes, everything is in English. The guidebook contains detailed descriptions for each card, but the images work well even without the text.
How does this deck differ from other angel decks?
The style is surrealism, not the classic angel illustrations with light colours and wings in the background. The images are denser, more layered and ask for longer looking.
