Aquarian Tarot Deck & Guidebook

Aquarian Tarot – A Timeless Masterpiece Reimagined

Step into a world where the elegance of Art Deco meets the mystical depths of the tarot. The Aquarian Tarot is a renewed edition of David Palladini’s 1970s masterpiece, which has remained a cornerstone of the tarot world for over five decades. This edition breathes new life into the iconic imagery, featuring digitally remastered illustrations that capture the ethereal, pale color palette and sophisticated linework with newfound clarity. It is more than just a deck; it is a bridge between the psychedelic spiritual revolution of the 20th century and the modern seeker’s quest for enlightenment.

About this Deck

The Aquarian Tarot is celebrated for its distinctive "Age of Aquarius" aesthetic, blending Art Deco's geometric precision with the flowing grace of Art Nouveau. The visual style is calm yet profound, utilizing a soft color scheme that allows the reader’s intuition to surface without distraction. This updated version offers a slightly larger format to better showcase Palladini’s intricate details and comes paired with the comprehensive 200-page book, Psychic Tarot. The result is a cohesive, immersive experience that feels both vintage and strikingly contemporary.

Symbolism and Themes

While the deck firmly adheres to the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism, David Palladini’s interpretation adds a layer of quiet intensity. The characters on the cards often appear in a state of deep contemplation, reflecting the internal journey of the soul. The themes of this deck center on mental clarity, psychic development, and the integration of ancient wisdom into a modern lifestyle. By stripping away cluttered backgrounds, the deck focuses on the essential archetypal energy of each card, making it an excellent tool for those who prefer clean, symbolic storytelling.

The Creators

David Palladini
An American illustrator (1946–2019) and graduate of the Pratt Institute, Palladini became world-renowned for his ability to merge classical art styles with spiritual themes. His work on the Aquarian Tarot and the New Palladini Tarot cemented his legacy as a titan of tarot art.

Craig Junjulas
A respected teacher of metaphysics and psychic development, Junjulas authored Psychic Tarot. His expertise bridges the gap between simple card meanings and the deeper energetic structures of the human experience, including the chakra system and aura work.

Practical Use

The Aquarian Tarot is highly versatile, suited for both quick daily draws and complex investigative spreads. Because the imagery is rooted in the Rider-Waite system, it is exceptionally accessible for beginners, while the included Psychic Tarot book provides enough esoteric depth to challenge and inspire seasoned practitioners. The book’s focus on chakras and numerology allows for a holistic reading style that goes beyond simple "fortune telling."

"To deepen your connection with the Aquarian Tarot, try meditating on the facial expressions of the characters. Their stoic and calm demeanors often reveal subtle emotional nuances that can change the entire direction of a reading."
