The Art Nouveau Tarot is a 78-card tarot deck drawn entirely in the art nouveau style by Italian artist Antonella Castelli. Every card features flowing lines, floral decoration and carefully composed figures.

The deck is divided into Major and Minor Arcana. The cards display names in six languages, including Dutch. Each card carries the name in English and Italian at the top, and in French, Spanish, German and Dutch at the bottom. The Major Arcana are numbered with Roman numerals.

What the cards look like

The box is cream-coloured with green and gold art nouveau decoration, and a central illustration of a female figure in light blue robes holding scales, surrounded by blue flowers. The card edges are gilded in gold, and the backs carry a gold floral pattern.

The illustrations are hand-drawn. The Lovers shows two figures embracing, surrounded by flowers in warm pinks, reds and oranges. The Magician stands in a white robe and red cloak, surrounded by plants and objects including a cup, a disc and a staff. The High Priestess sits in a blue robe with a red cloak, holding a key. The Empress is surrounded by flowing lines and floral motifs, with flowers in her hair.
