This is a deck of forty cards. No more, no less. It makes no big claims, follows no elaborate philosophy, includes no separate bookmark. What it does have: clear symbolism, a manageable format, and instructions in several languages.
The publisher is Lo Scarabeo, an Italian studio that has been producing oracle and tarot cards for decades. This deck fits their approach: accessible, visually considered, no barriers.
The imagery references early divination tradition. You see that in the figures, the patterns, the way symbols sit beside each other. It is not abstract, not overly decorated, not minimal. It sits in between.
Each of the forty cards carries its own motif. The illustrations are built from shapes, lines and recognizable forms. Colours are muted, not bright. The overall feel is calmer than modern oracle cards, but less heavy than classic tarot.
The format is 70 x 110 mm. That is slightly smaller than standard playing cards, but large enough to see the details. The card stock is solid. It shuffles easily.
