Climbing Your Personal Mountain - nature photography as metaphor for personal growth
Some card decks use symbols and archetypes. This one uses mountains. Jennifer Murphy-Morrical photographed the nature around her home in Montana and paired each image with motivational text about resilience, obstacles and growth.
This is not tarot or oracle in the traditional sense. Each card shows one nature photograph with a short, positive message. Pull a card, read the text, look at the image. That is the setup.
What you see on the cards
Mountain landscapes, often photographed at sunrise or sunset. Rock formations, snow-covered peaks, forest paths, open plains. The colours are natural: lots of blue, grey, green and gold.
The texts are printed on the cards themselves. No separate booklet. Sentences like 'Every step forward counts' or 'Trust the climb'. Short and to the point. The photography does most of the work.
How this deck is used
Many people pull one card in the morning and leave it somewhere visible for the rest of the day. The photograph works as a visual reminder. Others use the deck to frame a specific challenge: pull a card, see if the image or text resonates.
This is not a deck for complex spreads or deep symbolic interpretation. It is designed for simple, daily check-ins with yourself.

Jennifer Murphy-Morrical lives in Montana and writes about spirituality and nature. Besides this deck she published the children's book 'What I Believe' and the card set 'Messages from the Wee Folk'. Her work centres on making visible the connections between nature and personal growth.
