The cards are published by Lo Scarabeo and consist of abstract watercolours in monochrome tones. Each card shows a Sanskrit symbol that corresponds to the colour frequency of the image. The format is compact (88 x 125 mm), the cardstock is glossy laminated and the corners are rounded.
Each card focuses on one colour. That colour fills the entire card and is rendered in soft, flowing watercolour shapes. The Sanskrit symbol sits centrally or at the edge, depending on the composition.
You draw a card, place it in front of you and use the colour as an anchor during your meditation or breathing exercise. The abstraction helps: there is nothing to distract you, no narrative pushing itself forward. The image does what it needs to do and then leaves you alone.
