The cards come straight from Won's nature journal. Soft colors, loose lines, no elaborated scenes but atmospheric impressions. Each image carries a single word prompt. That combination is meant to direct your attention during a walk.

What you see on the cards

The imagery is painterly and intimate. No symbolism to decode, just small observations from nature. A blade of grass, a play of light, a vague horizon. The lines are loose, the composition feels spontaneous.

Each card carries one word. No explanation, no context on the card itself. That context is in the accompanying Pocket Field Guide, a full-color booklet that gives background for each image.

The finish stands out. The cards have a matte, velvety feel and gilded edges. The format is compact, about 70 x 120 mm, which fits well in a coat pocket. The magnetic box is sturdy enough to take with you.

How this deck works

Pull a card before you go outside. Keep the word in mind. Look during your walk to see if you can find three things that call up that word for you. It is not a prediction, more a way to look with direction.

The Pocket Field Guide offers a bit more context per card. Not fixed meanings, but associations and background information about the image. You can take the booklet with you or consult it later at home.

If you cannot go outside, use the images for visualization. Pull a card, look at the painting and write down what it calls up.
