El Camino Oracle - ancestral symbols and Latin American heritage
Not every oracle deck draws from the same well. This one deliberately chooses pre-Columbian symbols, Caribbean folk art and traditional textile patterns. The imagery is warm and full, with colours you do not soon forget.
Sabina Espinet created 44 cards that honour her roots. She combines her Caribbean and Latin American background with a focus on ancestral wisdom and personal growth. Each card carries a title in both Spanish and English, which strengthens the connection to the culture.
What you see on the cards
The imagery is rich and layered. Textile patterns, plant motifs and figures with clear symbolic weight dominate. The colours are vibrant, earthy and warm: ochre yellow, terracotta, deep blue, fuchsia and green.
The matte finish prevents glare and gives the cards a soft appearance. The format is compact, 90 x 128 mm, and the cardstock feels sturdy enough for daily use.
What the guidebook contains
The guidebook runs to 112 pages and contains more than just card meanings. Espinet shares personal stories, reflection questions and spiritual rituals that help you apply the symbolism. The text is direct and personal.
The explanation for each card emphasises ancestral connection and intuition. No abstract mysticism, but concrete pointers about how a symbol can behave in a reading.
Look closely at the colours and shapes before you read the text. The symbols are clear enough to suggest a direction on their own.

Questions we often get
Do I need to know Spanish to use this deck?
No. The cards carry titles in both Spanish and English, and the guidebook is written entirely in English. The Spanish titles add a cultural layer but are not a requirement.
How does this deck differ from other oracle decks with cultural themes?
The focus is specifically on pre-Columbian and Caribbean symbols, not on a general spiritual or Eastern theme. The imagery is personal and comes directly from the maker's background.
