From Survive to Thrive Empowerment Cards - affirmations and reflection on 74 cards
Most oracle cards work with image and symbol. This deck chooses words. Each card carries an affirmation, a statement or a question. No illustrations, no colours. Only text on a quiet background.
Sharon Tal, a kinesiologist from Australia, designed the cards as a practical tool for anyone who wants to recognise and break through their own thought patterns. The deck is deliberately called 'Empowerment Cards', not oracle. The focus lies on concrete action, not interpretation.
What you find on the cards
Each card carries one message. Sometimes an affirmation ('I celebrate my successes'), sometimes a reflection question ('Where am I blocking my own growth?'), sometimes a clear statement. The texts are short and direct.
There is no symbology, no visual language to learn. This makes the deck accessible, but also more limited in what it can express. You read what is there and apply it to your own situation.
The cardstock has a matte finish. The format (90 x 130 mm) is slightly larger than standard playing cards, just small enough to shuffle comfortably. The cards come in a sturdy box.
How you can work with them
Draw a card at the start of the day as a focus, or use the deck at the end of a tarot or oracle session to get a concrete closing. Many people place a drawn card in sight as a daily reminder.
You do not need a guidebook. The cards speak for themselves. That is the strength and at the same time the limitation: what you read is what you get.
Place a card that touches you on your desk or bedside table. Repetition helps the message land.

Can I combine these cards with a tarot reading?
Yes. Many people draw a card from this deck at the end of a reading for a concrete action point or closing reflection.
Are there illustrations on the cards?
No. Each card contains only text on a plain background. The design is deliberately kept minimal.
