The people behind this deck
Paola Vecchi drew all 78 illustrations. Sara Marzullo, described as a feminist writer, wrote the texts. Two distinct contributors, two distinct crafts, aimed at the same subject.
The result is a deck with a clear point of view. This is not a neutral collection of historical portraits. The selection of these women, and the pairing with the tarot arcana, is deliberate and consistent throughout.
