Harmonious Tarot mini - compact elegance in pocket size
Not every mini deck survives being scaled down. This one does. The Harmonious Tarot mini brings the graceful lines of Walter Crane back to a size that fits in your inside pocket, without losing the details or becoming unreadable.
The illustrations are based on the work of English artist Walter Crane (1845-1915), known for his role in the Aesthetic movement. Ernest Fitzpatrick translated his visual language into a tarot deck. The result is calm, classical and full of floral motifs and flowing lines.
What you see on the cards
The visual language is late Victorian. Soft colours, lots of pastels, and an emphasis on symmetry and harmony. The figures have something serene about them, as if they have just stopped moving.
Despite the small format (43 x 76 mm) the faces remain recognisable and the symbols legible. The cards follow the classic tarot structure, so you do not need to learn new systems if you are already familiar with Rider-Waite or similar decks.
How this format works
The cards are small, but not too small to work with. They shuffle easily between your hands and take up little space on the table. For a daily card or a simple three-card spread, this format is more practical than a standard deck.
The cards come in a sturdy mini box that you can take anywhere. In a bag, in a jacket pocket, on a trip. The quality is Lo Scarabeo, so the cardstock holds up with regular use.
Draw a card in the morning before you leave the house. The format makes it so easy that you will actually do it, instead of it remaining a good intention.

Is this format comfortable for people with large hands?
Yes. The cards are small, but not so small that they are difficult to handle. Shuffling goes smoothly and when laying them out you can simply place them down as you are used to.
Does this come with a guidebook?
No. This is a mini deck without a booklet. If you are not familiar with tarot, you can look up the meanings online or in a separate book.
