I Am The Artist Tarot - 80 cards with five extra archetypes for creativity
Most tarot decks stick to 78 cards. This one adds five, including 'The Artist' and 'The Untitled One'. They are not gimmicks, but extra tools for readings focused on creativity, projects or blocks.
The deck is designed by Monicka Clio Sakki and follows the structure of Rider-Waite-Smith. The imagery is different. Sakki works with collage techniques that mix brightly coloured planes with surrealist details. The result is busy, not subtle.
What you see on the cards
The style leans on art deco and surrealist imagery. Bright colours dominate, contrasts are sharp. Each card contains multiple symbolic layers, often with astrological or Kabbalistic references woven in.
The collage technique means you look again with every reading. Details you missed the first time surface later. That keeps the cards readable, even after repeated use.
How it works in practice
The structure is classic: 22 major arcana, 56 minor arcana. You can keep the five extra cards separate or shuffle them in, depending on the question. The guidebook describes how to use them in existing spreads.
The deck is aimed at people who use tarot as a thinking tool for creative projects. Illustrators, writers, makers who get stuck. That shows in the interpretations, which revolve around the act of making itself.
Draw a card before you start working. Use the colour or a single detail as a guide for your session. Interpret the card only afterwards.

Questions we often get
When do you use the five extra cards?
They are intended for readings about creativity, projects or blocks. You can shuffle them in by default or keep them separate and choose them consciously. The guidebook gives instructions for both options.
Is this deck usable if you do not know Rider-Waite-Smith?
Yes. The structure matches RWS, and the guidebook describes each card. The imagery is busier than classic decks, which means you need more time to get to know the cards.
