Inspirational Wicca Oracle - 36 cards about light and shadow in Wicca
Not every oracle works with fixed meanings. This deck uses images that leave room for interpretation. Each card shows a ritual element, a force of nature, or a symbolic moment from the Wicca tradition, but how you read it depends on the question you ask.
The Inspirational Wicca Oracle was created by Davide Marrè, an Italian Wicca expert, and illustrated by Gonzalo M. Moreno. The drawing style is dark and suggestive, with heavy use of shadow and contrast. That fits the central theme: the balance between what is visible and what remains hidden.
What you see on the cards
The 36 cards show elements drawn directly from Wicca practice. Candles, moons, pentagrams, herbs and ritual actions take shape in detailed compositions. The colours are muted, with lots of black, grey, purple and deep red.
The imagery is not always explicit. Some cards show a direct action, others work more with atmosphere and suggestion. This makes the deck suitable for intuitive readings, but less so if you want to read everything at a glance.
The cards are large format: 78 x 120 mm. That gives space to the details, but also requires more room when laying out spreads.
The guidebook as an interpretive framework
The included guidebook runs to 192 pages, all in full colour. Each card gets a double-page spread with commentary. There are no fixed definitions, but descriptions that place the symbolism within the Wicca context.
The text is multilingual: English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. For each card you read what the image can mean, how it relates to other cards, and what questions you can explore with it. Spreads or instructions for beginners are not included.
Pull a card before you begin a ritual and see what element or theme comes forward. Let that guide the rest of the evening.
Who this deck works for
This is not a beginner deck. The symbolism assumes you already have some knowledge of Wicca or similar traditions. If you do not know what a pentagram means or how the moon cycle works in a magical context, you will need to look up a lot on your own.
For those who already work with rituals, the deck offers a visual language that connects well with practice. The cards show rather than explain, and that can be refreshing if you are used to decks with lots of text or fixed formulas.
About Davide Marrè and Gonzalo M. Moreno
Davide Marrè is an Italian writer and Wicca practitioner. He developed the themes for this oracle and wrote the texts in the guidebook.
Gonzalo M. Moreno drew the cards. His style is dramatic, with much attention to light and texture. The images are not minimalist, but not overloaded either. They leave just enough room for you to add your own interpretation.

Questions we often get
Do you need to practise Wicca to use this deck?
No, but you will benefit from basic knowledge of the symbolism. The guidebook explains what the images mean within Wicca, but assumes you already have some background. Without that knowledge, many cards will remain abstract.
Does the guidebook include spreads or instructions?
No. The guidebook focuses on the meaning of the cards themselves. How you lay them out is up to you and your own practice.
