Some oracle cards give you a word, an image or a set of keywords. This deck gives you a symbol and asks you to work with it without words. The Light Language Oracle by Indigo Angel consists of 52 cards with what the creator calls 'light language': visual codes that are not meant to be read but felt.

The concept is simple. You pull a card, look at the symbol and observe what happens. No fixed meanings, no explanations you need to memorise first. The idea is that the symbols work directly on your energy field.

What you see on the cards

The symbols are geometric and abstract. Circles, lines, shapes you cannot immediately name. Everything is digitally designed in bright colours on a white or soft background. There is no text on the cards themselves.

The cards are large, 95 x 140 mm, and printed on sturdy cardstock with a matte finish. The guidebook has 144 pages and explains for each card what the symbol can energetically evoke or activate, according to the creator.

Who this is designed for

This deck is aimed at lightworkers and people already working with channelling, energy work or meditation. It assumes you are open to the idea that a symbol without context can trigger something in you.

This is not a beginner deck. There is no tarot structure underneath, no fixed spreads, no recognisable archetypes. You need to be willing to sit with a symbol and see what it brings up in you. That takes patience.

Place the card in front of you without opening the guidebook. Look for a few minutes and notice what happens in your body. Only afterwards read what the creator writes about the symbol.

About the creator

Indigo Angel works with multidimensional energies and describes herself as a lightworker. She designed this deck as a tool to make contact with what she calls 'light beings' and the 'Higher Self'. The guidebook is written from that perspective.

Does this deck work if you have never heard of light language?
It depends. If you are used to working with symbols and willing to practise without fixed meanings, you can work with it. If you prefer concrete explanations and structure, this is not the deck to start with.

Can you combine this with a tarot deck?
Yes. Some people pull a card from this deck as a supplement to a tarot reading, to see what energetic layer sits beneath a question. The creator also describes that use in the guidebook.
