Each of the 55 cards carries a quotation from the work of Rumi, the 13th-century Persian mystic whose writings on love, loss and longing are still read today.

The cards are translated and designed by Rassouli, an artist who specialises in translating spiritual concepts into imagery. The patterns are Persian-inspired, the colours warm, the finish refined.

What you see on the cards

Each card design carries a quotation. No keywords, no short summaries. Sentences that are complete and stand on their own. The backgrounds are decorated with patterns that refer back to Islamic art: geometric forms, arabesques, golden accents.

The colours are muted shades of red, gold, blue and green. The text sits at the centre, the visual elements support without distracting. Some cards are fuller, others lighter. The rhythm varies.

How you work with it

This is not a traditional oracle with fixed positions or worked-out spreads. The deck follows no structure like tarot does. What it offers is access to a way of thinking that centres on inner healing, love as a spiritual force, and letting go of the ego.

Many readers pull one card per day, read the quotation a few times, and leave it at that. The texts are compact enough to remember, rich enough to carry through a day.

About Rumi and Rassouli

Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi lived in the 13th century in what is now Afghanistan and Turkey. He wrote poems in which love is the central force that connects the human with the divine. His work is still read and translated worldwide today.

Rassouli is an artist and translator. He selected and translated the quotations from the original Persian texts, with attention to spiritual charge rather than literal word choice. His visual work combines dreamlike painting with traditional motifs.
