The Sacred Bird Oracle Cards contain 44 cards with vivid illustrations of birds from different parts of the world. Each creature stands for a quality or spiritual theme: transformation, freedom, inner strength, emotional recovery. The 64-page guidebook offers an interpretation for each card and explains how to translate the message into your own situation.
The imagery is colourful and immediately recognisable. Each bird gets its own background and composition. Some cards are built geometrically, others more organically. The style is illustrative, not photorealistic.
The cards measure 103 x 148 mm, slightly smaller than standard tarot size. That makes them easy to hold and pleasant to shuffle. The box is sturdy and closes well.
The system is free: no fixed structure as in tarot, no obligatory spreads. You draw a card and see which bird you meet. The guidebook gives background information on the symbolism of that animal, what message it brings and how you can apply it.

Yes. Each bird gets a separate page in the guidebook with symbolism, message and suggestions for application. Enough to work with without having to look everything up yourself.
Does the guidebook include spreads?
The guidebook focuses mainly on card interpretations. There are no extensive spreads in it, but you can use any layout you already know or simply draw one or more cards.
