Tarot of the Dream Enchantress - dreamlike imagery with focus on emotion
Some tarot decks are direct and clear. This is not one of them. Marco Nizzoli draws a world where the boundaries between waking and dreaming blur, with figures that are often feminine and always elegant.
The deck consists of 78 cards and follows the traditional tarot structure. What sets it apart is the atmosphere: soft, somewhat melancholic, with much attention to detail in clothing, postures and backgrounds.
What you see on the cards
Nizzoli works with refined lines and muted colours. The figures are often surrounded by decorative elements, flowers, fabrics, jewellery. This gives the cards an almost art nouveau feel.
The symbolism is classic tarot, but the way it is translated is personal. Facial expressions are soft, gazes turned inward. The cards do not invite action, but reflection.
How you work with it
This deck works well for readings about relationships, feelings and inner processes. Less so for practical questions or quick answers. The imagery asks for time and stillness.
The cards are multilingual. That means the text on the cards themselves is limited. You read mainly from the image.
Draw one card in the evening and place it beside your bed. The dreamlike atmosphere fits well with the rhythm of the day winding down.

Questions we often get
Is this deck suitable for beginners?
That depends on how you read. If you prefer to read from image and feeling, this deck works even without much prior knowledge. If you need clear symbols and fixed meanings, there are clearer decks.
Does it include a guidebook?
The standard Lo Scarabeo guidebook is multilingual and compact. It gives brief meanings per card, but does not go deep into the specific imagery of this deck.
