Not every oracle deck comes with rituals and spells. This one does. The Earthcraft Oracle pairs 53 cards with a guidebook that gives you literal instructions for seasonal workings, affirmations and personal rituals.

The cards are created by Juliet Diaz, a Taíno-Cuban healer and herbalist, together with Lorraine Anderson, who specialises in tarot and astrology. The illustrations are by Daniell Boodoo-Fortuné, who depicts women in rich diversity of bodies, skin tones and cultural expression. The imagery revolves around nature spirits, plants, flowers, elements and ancestral symbols.

What you see on the cards

Colourful, detailed, with a matte finish that absorbs light instead of reflecting it. The illustrations show bodies without idealisation, cultures without exoticisation. You see women surrounded by herbs, branches, moons, fire, water.

The symbolism is direct enough to work intuitively, but the cards carry no keywords. That makes them quieter in the hand, but also means you need to consult the guidebook if you want to know what a card concretely means.

The 144-page guidebook

This is where the weight of the deck lies. Each card receives an extended description with meaning, but also a ritual, spell or affirmation. That might be an herbal bath, a moon ritual, a healing text you speak aloud.

About the creators

Juliet Diaz grew up in a Taíno-Cuban family of healers and learned herbal medicine from her grandmother. She writes about ancestral wisdom, nature magic and the decolonisation of spiritual practices.

Lorraine Anderson combines astrology, tarot and natural cycles in her work. Daniell Boodoo-Fortuné illustrates with a focus on feminine power, diversity and spirituality without Western filters.
