The Numinous Astro Deck - astrology in cards for daily use
Astrology is hard to learn when all you have are tables and diagrams. This deck makes the building blocks tangible. No software, no calculations, just 45 cards that show the elements of a horoscope in a form you can hold in your hands.
Ruby Warrington, founder of spiritual platform The Numinous, developed the deck with Bess Matassa, an astrologer from New York. Together they translated the twelve signs, twelve houses, fourteen planets and seven aspects into a set meant to be laid out, combined and remembered.
Four types of cards
The deck consists of four astrological layers. The zodiac signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini through Pisces) each get a card. The same structure applies to the twelve houses, which mark concrete life areas like work, relationships or health.
The planets form a separate category: from the moon to Pluto, each with its own card describing the energy or drive it represents. The seven aspect cards show how planets connect with each other, whether that creates tension or harmony.
The illustrations are fresh and modern, with clear colours and symbols that are immediately recognisable. Each element gets space on the card without unnecessary detail.
How you work with it
You can pull a card of the day and see which astrological energy is at play. Or you take three cards and form a combination: a planet in a sign and a house. That gives a visual representation of what would be an abstract symbol in a birth chart.
The guidebook explains the basics and gives a clear description for each card. No jargon, no esoteric language, just what the card means and how you can apply it.
Lay a spread with a planet card, a sign card and a house card to visualise a specific placement from your own chart. It helps to remember astrological connections.
Who this deck is designed for
This deck is made for people who want to learn astrology without immediately installing software or working through hundred-page manuals. It gives an overview of astrological language in a form you can hold.
Those who already work with astrology can use the deck to visualise themes from a birth chart or to look at transits and progressions without a screen. It is a tool that makes abstract knowledge concrete.

Questions we often get
Can I use this deck if I know nothing about astrology?
Yes. The guidebook explains the basic concepts and each card contains a clear description. You learn astrological language as you go, without prior knowledge.
Can I use this deck without a birth chart?
Definitely. You can pull cards for daily insights or lay them out as a regular oracle deck. The astrological structure gives direction, but is not a requirement.
