The deck is designed by visionary artist Daniel B. Holeman and published by Blue Angel Publishing. What sets it apart is that it does not just discuss shadow work, it visualises it: each card shows an aspect of the unconscious as a visible, recognisable image.
What you see on the cards
Holeman draws in a dreamlike, almost meditative style. Lots of blue, purple, grey. Light emerging from darkness, or the other way around. No loud colours, no direct symbolism you immediately recognise from tarot or alchemy.
The images feel more like inner states than scenes. They do not tell stories, they show moods. That makes them suitable for those who work visually and prefer to interpret symbolism themselves rather than have it handed to them.
