Product information
Tarot Spreads Year - 52 spreads for every week of the year
A spread can give a reading direction. This deck offers 52, divided into four categories that follow the natural cycles of the year: Growth, Shadow, Transformation and Self-Care.
Chelsey Pippin Mizzi designed Tarot Spreads Year as a working deck. Each card shows a layout with numbered positions and brief instructions. The included 16-page guidebook gives background information for each spread and explains when you might use which pattern.
What you see on the cards
Each spread is shown schematically with numbered positions. The front of each card shows the layout, the back gives the name and category. The spreads range from simple three-card readings to more complex patterns with ten or more positions.
The categories are clearly defined. Growth focuses on progress and seasonal energy. Shadow addresses hidden patterns and unconscious blocks. Transformation deals with change and transitions. Self-Care looks at recovery and balance.
The spreads are not tied to a specific tarot deck. You use them with the cards you already have.
How you work with it
You can draw one card each week and follow that spread. Or you browse through the deck and choose the pattern that fits your question. Some spreads focus on concrete life areas such as friendship or career, others on more abstract themes such as intuition or creative blocks.
The guidebook is concise. It does not give extensive interpretations, but it does explain what each position within a spread means and when you might choose that pattern.
Draw a spread from the Shadow category during a new moon. The energy of that phase helps to make hidden patterns visible.
