Not every tarot deck chooses human figures. This one uses the wolf as carrier of meaning. All cards are hand-drawn in black and white, with a minimal style that focuses on form and posture.
The structure follows traditional tarot, but the suits are renamed. Wands become Leaders, Cups are Care-takers, Swords are called Watchers and Pentacles are Hunters. That translation is not a gimmick. It places each theme directly within the social dynamics of a pack.
The drawing style is spare. No backgrounds or distracting details. Each image shows a wolf in a specific posture: alert, nurturing, leading, hunting.
The cards use no colour. The linework in black on white makes you notice body language and gaze more quickly. That helps when reading: the emotion or action jumps out immediately.
The deck includes a 108-page guidebook. It explains the card meanings, plus a number of spreads and rituals that connect to the theme of the pack.
The cards are printed on 350 gsm art paper with matte lamination. That feels solid and shuffles smoothly. The format is 70 x 120 mm, standard for tarot.
The guidebook offers enough support for beginners, but does not impose fixed meanings. There is room to use your own associations with wolf behaviour.

Luna Charisma runs the brand Wolves & Wonders and designed this deck. Her work focuses on the connection between nature and symbolism, with the wolf as central motif.
How does this second edition differ from the first?
The imagery has been refined and the paper is heavier. The matte finish is new to this edition.
Are the cards easy to read without backgrounds or colours?
Yes. The focus on posture and form actually makes the message more direct. You read more quickly what the card shows without being distracted by details.
