The Wisdom of The Sacred Bee Oracle - 68 cards across five elements
The bee as spiritual symbol is not new, but Kelly Burton gives it her own spin in this oracle. She links the bee to the five elements and builds a system of 68 cards around it, divided into Fire, Water, Air, Earth and Aether.
The deck is designed as a companion to The Journey of The Sacred Bee Tarot, but works just as well on its own. Where tarot offers structure, this oracle gives room for free association and thematic work with the elements.
What you see on the cards
The imagery consists of digital collages with bright colours and patterns from sacred geometry. Each card combines flowers, bees, circles, triangles and symbols that reference natural cycles. It is busy, colourful work that gives your eye a lot to follow.
Each element has its own colour palette and set of symbols. Fire works with red and orange, Water with blue and green, Air with yellow and white, Earth with brown and green, and Aether with purple and gold. The purple gilded edges tie the cards together visually.
The 140-page guidebook gives a description, a keyword and reflection questions for each card. The texts are spiritual in tone, with emphasis on connection to nature and personal growth.
The Lineage Cards
Three cards sit outside the five elements: the Lineage Cards. Burton intends them as a bridge to ancestral energy, spiritual heritage, or as a focal point during rituals. They can also serve as a significator in a reading, or as clarification for a complex question.
It is an open concept. The guidebook gives suggestions but leaves most of the interpretation to the user.
How you use this deck
You can work by element if you want to focus on a specific theme: Fire for willpower and passion, Water for emotion and intuition, Air for communication and thought, Earth for practical matters and the body, Aether for spirituality and connection to the greater whole.
The deck also lends itself to daily card pulls. The texts are compact enough to read in the morning and carry through the day.
Place the Lineage Cards on your workspace or altar as an anchor. Then draw a card from the element you want to work with that day. The combination gives direction without pinning you to one interpretation.

Questions we often get
How does this oracle differ from a standard tarot deck?
There is no fixed structure as in tarot. The cards are divided into five elements instead of four suits and major arcana. You have more freedom in how you lay out and interpret the cards.
Do I need The Journey of The Sacred Bee Tarot to use this deck?
No. Burton designed them as a set, but this oracle works fine on its own. You can also use it alongside any other tarot deck as supplementary cards.
