Twin Tarot Oracle - each archetype gets two faces
Most tarot decks give you one card per archetype. This deck gives you two. The Hermit appears as light and as shadow. The Moon, The Star, The Tower: all doubled.
The Twin Tarot Oracle contains 44 cards, two versions of each of the 22 Major Arcana. Jeni Bethell and Rachael Hammond designed it for Lo Scarabeo. The illustrations are colourful and rich in symbolism, with a contemporary visual language that brings out the psychological core of each archetype.
How this deck works
In every reading you draw from both versions of an archetype. The light card shows the constructive side: what grows, what helps, what you can embrace. The shadow card reveals the undercurrent: the blind spot, the pitfall, the unprocessed.
That makes readings sharper. You get not just a direction, but also a warning. Not just what is possible, but also what stands in the way.
The cards are large (102 x 137 mm) and feel substantial in the hand. The illustrations use vivid colours and detailed symbolism. Each pair of cards shares visual elements but differs just enough to make the two sides tangible.
Who this deck works for
This deck focuses entirely on the Major Arcana. If you are looking for a complete 78-card tarot deck, you will not find it here. What you do get is an oracle that goes deeper into the major life questions and psychological patterns that live in the archetypes.
The cards assume some basic familiarity with the Major Arcana, but the included guidebook explains the approach. You can use this deck as a supplement to an existing tarot deck, or independently for short, focused spreads.
