De Angelis works with a refined painting technique that gives the cards a slightly graphic character. The lines are sharp, the colours clear without shouting. Archetypes like The Fool, The Lovers or The Tower are faithful to the original composition, but feel more contemporary.
All 78 cards follow the familiar system: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana with full scenes. The Minor Arcana are not abstract, but show situations and figures, which makes reading more accessible.
