Walk in the Red Tarot - hand-illustrated deck by Duy Khanh Vo
Walk in the Red Tarot is an 80-card tarot deck, every card drawn by hand by Vietnamese artist Duy Khanh Vo. The deck contains the standard 78 tarot cards, plus two additional cards: 'Myself' and 'The Blank'. Duy Khanh Vo created and published this deck independently.
The imagery focuses on human figures, emotion and symbolism. Many figures look directly at you. The two extra cards open up the traditional tarot structure to personal interpretation.
What the cards look like
Each card front shows a hand-drawn illustration in vivid colours: yellow, red, blue and green appear throughout. 'Strength' shows a figure with long hair in a colourful composition. 'Justice' depicts a figure holding scales with a heart above, set against a green background with yellow rays. 'The Lovers' shows two faces side by side, surrounded by flower and hand symbols on a yellow-orange background.
The cards have white, non-gilded edges and rounded corners. The deck comes in an orange-terracotta fabric pouch printed with a black-and-white illustration of a face with heart and eye motifs.
