Nicolette van den Hadelkamp was born and raised in a family of entrepreneurs. As the middle child of three, she often played the role of mediator and connector. These traits, along with her adventurous spirit, laid the foundation for her later artistic journey.
After traveling around the world, Nicolette found herself anew in the Andes. Following life-changing experiences, she felt exhausted and empty, which led her to let go of everything holding her back. Through this process, she reconnected with her art, initially as a form of healing, but later as a way to express her voice to the world.
In 2018, she decided to elevate her art and joined the Milan Art Institute for an intensive year, which gave her the skills, confidence, and courage to share her work with the public.
Her artwork revolves around themes of femininity, introspection, empowerment, and transformation. The organic forms and flowing transitions in her pieces reflect her love for nature. Nicolette aims to awaken people through her art, inspiring them to come out of their shells and follow their dreams.
She creates from her home studio in Ouddorp, surrounded by nature, and has a second studio in Montfoort, where people can visit by appointment or attend one of her Open Atelier events.
