The creator describes this oracle as a way back to a place inside you that still remembers the “language of light”. Each card is meant to hold a key: an understanding, a memory, something that wants to be remembered. The structure in three motifs makes it tangible. Situations offer something you can recognise in life. Spirits bring in a tone or presence you can sit with. Symbols place a sign at the centre so your own associations can fill in the rest. No previous knowledge is needed, according to the creator. This oracle is made for seekers, for the brave ones who don’t settle for the ordinary, and for those who have heard the call of their soul.
Cristina Gonzáles is an illustrator and artist from Quito, Ecuador, and the creative mind behind Snakes & Roses, her online shop where she shares and sells her work. She describes a background in design and a lifelong fascination with psychology, which sparked her interest in tarot, astrology, and symbolism. She designs and illustrates her decks and artworks herself, keeping a direct link between her hand, her style, and the cards you hold.
Her imagery is often described as rich in colour and symbolism, with influences from Indigenous and shamanic themes, giving the deck a warm and expressive feel. Alchemy of the Spirit is her debut oracle deck, created with the intention of using hidden messages in the artwork to open space for reflection and inner insight.
These oracle cards fit well if you like to respond to imagery, and you don’t mind a card stirring something before it becomes clear. You pull a card and let the symbols hum for a few minutes. Then you read the guide, not to “do it right”, but to find words that match what you already felt. Because of the three motifs, you can also choose deliberately: a Situation for clarity, a Spirit when you want presence, or a Symbol to spark intuition.
If you prefer very concrete, plain text without dream language, another style of oracle may feel more natural. This deck intentionally returns to imagination, tenderness, and the part of you that still believes in magic.
