Animal Guidance & Aspects Oracle Cards - dual keywords for every animal
The Animal Guidance & Aspects Oracle Cards are built around a single principle: every animal has two sides. Each card carries two keywords, and which one applies depends on the card's orientation. Upright, you read the light aspect. Reversed, the shadow side appears.
The deck was designed by Ejay Soulguide, a paranormal card reader and podcast host. Kate Osborne created the illustrations.
Photographic cards with clear keywords
Every card shows a photographic image of an animal in its own environment. A white fox in the snow carries 'Mystical' at the top and 'Dangerous' printed upside down at the bottom. A sea turtle against a dark blue background shows 'Methodical' upright and 'Insular' reversed. A grey horse in a mountain landscape reads 'Freedom' one way and 'Subservience' the other. The keywords are printed directly on the card, so you can read them without looking anything up.
The card backs have a dark background with a cosmic colour field in orange, green and blue on the left side, and an ornate black pattern on the right. The box is dark blue with gold lettering and photographic animal imagery on the front, with a lion prominently in the foreground.
For beginners and experienced readers
Ejay Soulguide designed this deck for both beginners and experienced readers. The keywords on the cards let you start straight away. The 110-page guidebook offers background information and interpretations for those who want to go further. Working with reversals does call for a clear decision upfront: do you read reversed cards or not? That choice shapes how you interpret the orientation of every card you draw.

Questions we often get
How do I know which keyword applies if the card lands at an angle?
Decide before you start whether you are working with reversals or not. A card that lands at an angle counts as upright unless you are deliberately working with orientation. Keeping that decision consistent makes every reading clearer.
Are animals from all continents included?
Yes. Ejay Soulguide made a deliberate choice for a worldwide selection, from African animals to North American and Asian species.
