Astrology Oracle - psychology and astrology in 64 cards
Not every oracle deck asks a question back. This one does. The Astrology Oracle asks you to look at why you do what you do, and whether that still matches who you want to be.
Jennifer Freed has worked as a psychotherapist and astrologer for thirty years. She built this deck on the tension between three layers of human behaviour: what you do from survival, what you do from adaptation, and what you do from growth. The cards use astrological symbolism to make those layers visible.
What you see on the cards
Laila Savolainen draws in an ethereal style that leaves room to breathe. Soft tones, floating shapes, no hard lines. The imagery feels meditative, not decorative.
Each card has a title, an astrological symbol and an image. No keywords on the card itself. The 168-page guidebook describes three levels for each card: the primitive, the adaptive and the evolving. That gives you something to work with when you draw a card and think: this fits, but what now?
How this deck works
The guidebook contains meditations, interpretations and exercises for each card. That makes it suitable for slow sessions, not for quick answers. Many people draw one card, read the three levels, and let it sit for a few days.
You do not need astrological knowledge. Freed explains all symbolism in the text. It does help if you are willing to read past the first layer of a card.
Draw a card when you are stuck in a pattern and read the evolving level. Sometimes the answer lies not in what you must do, but in what you may let go.
About Jennifer Freed and Laila Savolainen
Jennifer Freed combines western astrology with psychotherapy. She works with clients, writes and leads trainings. This deck is a summary of her approach: astrological archetypes as a mirror for psychological patterns.
Laila Savolainen illustrates with watercolour and digital techniques. Her style for this deck is light and open, which gives space for interpretation without becoming vague.

Questions we often get
Do I need astrological knowledge to use this deck?
No. The guidebook explains all astrological concepts as they appear in the deck. It works just as well as a learning tool as for people already working with astrology.
How does this differ from a tarot deck?
This deck does not follow tarot structure. It has 64 cards that each represent an astrological archetype. The focus is on psychological growth and conscious choices, not on prediction.
