Some decks rethink the whole tarot tradition. This one uses Rider-Waite-Smith as its foundation and brings a contemporary visual language to it. Soft colours, feminine archetypes, inclusive interpretations.
Mara Parra designed the system, Josefina Schargorodsky drew the cards. Both are Argentinian. The deck was published by Fera, an independent publisher Parra co-founded. The style leans on the iconography of Pamela Colman Smith but is visually clearer and more modern.
The main lines of the RWS are recognisable: same structure, comparable scenes, comparable symbols. The execution is softer. Pastel colours dominate, the lines flow, faces are diverse.
The emphasis is on feminine energy. Male figures appear, but the focus is deliberately on feminine roles and perspectives. That fits the premise of the deck: tarot as a tool to strengthen intuition and inner wisdom.
The guidebook gives a short description and a few keywords for each card. It also includes a few spreads. Enough to work with, not overwhelming.
