Fairy Lenormand Oracle Cards - 36 cards with elves and classic symbols
Lenormand and fairies seem like two different worlds. One system is structured, practical and direct. The other is often associated with fairy tales and imagination. This deck combines both.
Marcus Katz and Tali Goodwin have kept the 36 classic Lenormand symbols intact: the Letter, the Key, the House, the Ring. But the setting is different. Where a traditional Lenormand deck often shows neutral pictograms, illustrator Davide Corsi places each symbol in a landscape of flowers, light and fairy figures. The Letter is handed over by a fairy. The Key hangs from a tree with pink blossoms.
What you see on the cards
The colours are light: lots of pink, lavender, soft blue and gold. The linework is soft, almost dreamlike. Each card contains the classic Lenormand symbol, supplemented with a fairy or nature being that reinforces the theme of the card.
The style is decorative. This is not a minimalist version of Lenormand. The cards are full, with details in every corner. For some this works as an invitation. For others it can distract from the fast, combinatorial way Lenormand is traditionally read.
The cardstock is sturdy and has a smooth finish. The cards measure 88 x 125 mm, making them slightly larger than a standard playing card deck. They shuffle smoothly.
How this deck relates to classic Lenormand
Lenormand is all about combinations. You do not read cards separately, but always in relation to each other. The Ring next to the House means something different from the Ring next to the Clouds. This system remains intact in the Fairy Lenormand Oracle.
What differs is the atmosphere. A classic Lenormand deck is neutral and lets the symbolism speak for itself. This deck adds a layer: the fairies bring an interpretation that is softer and more optimistic. That can help if you are still looking for access to the meanings. It can also clash if you are used to the business-like clarity of Lenormand.
Draw three cards in a row in the morning and read them as one sentence. Leave the fairies in the background, focus on the symbols themselves.
Who this works for
This deck is designed for beginners. The guidebook explains the basic principles of Lenormand, including a number of simple spreads. There are also short descriptions of each card, linked to the fairy energy.
If you already have experience with Lenormand and are looking for a second deck with a different look, this deck may appeal to you. The symbolism remains recognisable enough to apply your existing knowledge.
For collectors of Corsi's work or lovers of fairy aesthetics, this deck is a logical choice. The illustrations fit into the series of fantasy themes Corsi has worked with before.

Questions we often get
Can I use this deck if I have never worked with Lenormand before?
Yes. The guidebook explains the basics and the cards contain the classic 36 symbols. The fairy theme makes it visually more accessible than some traditional versions.
How does this differ from a tarot deck?
Lenormand has 36 cards and works with a different system than tarot. You always read cards in combination, not as separate meanings. The focus is more on concrete, everyday situations than on psychological or spiritual processes.
