About Ted Andrews

Ted Andrews (1952-2009) wrote Animal-Speak, a standard work on animal symbolism that is still widely read. His strength lay in connecting ancient wisdom with contemporary spiritual practice.

He studied the behaviour and symbolism of animals and birds for years, and translated that knowledge into accessible books and oracle decks. Feathered Omens is one of his most direct works: birds, their meaning, and how to read them.
