Fin de Siècle Kipper Spanish edition - Kipper oracle in late Victorian setting
Kipper cards read differently from tarot. Where tarot often looks at psychology or spirit, Kipper asks who, what and when. This German oracle system focuses on concrete situations: a visit, a letter, a conversation, a journey.
Ciro Marchetti takes the traditional Kipper system and sets it in late Victorian England. His digital illustrations show the social classes, fashion and interiors of that period. Everything is worked out in detail: the fabrics, the architecture, the fall of light.
What you see on the cards
The 39 cards include three extra cards beyond the classic 36-card Kipper system. That addition gives more nuance in readings. The backs are finished with silver accents, the fronts printed with a glossy finish.
The imagery is clear. A card shows a situation, a person or an event, and you see immediately what it is about. That makes Kipper accessible, even without prior knowledge of symbolism.
How this deck works in practice
Kipper gives direct answers. Pull a card about your working day and you see whether a conversation is coming, whether someone will visit, whether you will receive something. The cards read easily in combination: they build a narrative that stays close to daily life.
The 70 x 110 mm format shuffles well. The cards are sturdy enough for regular use, but not so thick that they feel clumsy.
Pull one card each morning and place it in front of you. Look back at the end of the day: what came up, who did you speak to, what happened unexpectedly?
About Ciro Marchetti
Ciro Marchetti works digitally and is known for his precision. His illustrations combine fantasy with technical control. He has designed several tarot and oracle decks, including the Gilded Tarot and the Legacy of the Divine Tarot.
For Fin de Siècle Kipper he chose a historical setting that is both recognisable and atmospheric. The Victorian period lends itself well to Kipper: clear social codes, distinct roles, visible etiquette.

Questions we often get
Does this deck work if you do not speak Spanish?
The images are direct enough that you can use the cards intuitively. The guidebook is entirely in Spanish, so if you want to consult it, basic knowledge of the language is useful.
What is the difference between Kipper and tarot?
Kipper focuses on events and people in daily life. Tarot works more with archetypes and inner processes. Kipper is more concrete, tarot more abstract.
