In Flower Folklore Oracle, flowers appear like characters from old stories. You see vibrant blooms and leaves that don’t only aim to look pretty, they want to tell you something. Between flora and fauna, traces of myth show up, as if each card is holding a small piece of folklore. It feels like turning pages in a book that is both nature and story.

These oracle cards move through flower folklore from many parts of the world. The text travels through legends, mythology, and symbolism, showing how flowers were linked in older cultures with love, passion, courage, and rebirth. You can work with a single card as a daily message, or use the deck for longer readings where story and meaning stay side by side.
The guidebook includes, for each flower, a tale, a message, and practical direction. You’ll also find dream interpretations, magic spells, and three custom spreads. That way you keep shifting between looking at the image, reading the story, and carrying it into your day.
Catherine C. Caprino works as a writer, concept artist, fine arts photographer, and metaphysical science guide. She has worked with Reiki, meditation, and numerology, and her writing has appeared in trade journals, newspapers, and oracle decks. Her artwork has been exhibited in many galleries and in a Smithsonian-affiliate museum.
For Flower Folklore Oracle, she set up an international collaboration. She discovered and directed three “blooming” finishing artists from Europe: Akakiyevic from Turkey, Julsiji from Italy, and Kaleriia Tverdoklib from Ukraine. The artwork was created by four artists from four different countries, bringing a mix of styles and perspectives into the cards.
These oracle cards work well if you like reading through images and stories. You pull a flower and you immediately have something to look at, but also something to step into: folklore, mythology, and the Language of Flowers. It helps if you enjoy a card that doesn’t rush to “the answer”, but first sets a mood through symbolism.
If you prefer very short cards without story, a simpler deck may feel more natural. Here, tales, dream layers, and ritual-like elements keep returning.
Pull one card and read only the message section for that flower in the guidebook. Then choose one of the three spreads when you want to explore the same theme with more cards.
