I Ching of Love - 64 hexagrams for the dynamics of relationships
The I-Ching is not an oracle in the sense of prediction. It is a system that describes change as it is unfolding now. This deck takes that philosophy and applies it to the field where most of us experience the most movement: love and relationships.
Each card represents one of the 64 hexagrams from the classical Chinese text. Those hexagrams are built from six lines, solid or broken, that together describe a phase. Here they are not translated as general life wisdom, but as concrete reflection on what can happen between two people.
What you see on the cards
The imagery combines traditional Eastern design with a contemporary, calm aesthetic. Each hexagram is visually worked out, supported by colours and symbols that touch on the undertone of that phase. These are not busy illustrations. The attention goes to the hexagram itself.
The cards are larger than standard: 88 x 125 mm. That size gives the symbolism room. They are printed on sturdy card stock and feel comfortable in the hand.
How you work with it
The included guidebook explains the hexagrams in relation to love, connection and partnership. No abstract philosophy, just concrete translation to situations you will probably recognise. The text is multilingual, including English.
You draw a card when you notice something shifting. Not to know what is coming, but to understand where you stand now. The deck responds to dynamics, not to stillness.
Draw a card and do not ask 'what will happen?' but 'what is playing out now and how can I move with it?'. That fits the philosophy of the I-Ching: moving with what is already in motion.
