Infinite Wisdom of the Chakras - 42 cards organised by chakra colour
Some decks take chakras as a theme. Others use them as an ordering principle. This deck belongs in the second category. The 42 cards are divided across the seven main chakras, and each chakra gets its own colour palette and symbolic imagery.
Alison DeNicola, yoga teacher, meditation instructor and energy healer, designed the deck as a visual guide through the chakra system. Each energy centre is shown through animals, deities and spiritual symbols. The colours are bright and strong, so you can see at a glance which chakra a card belongs to.
What you see on the cards
The illustrations combine Eastern philosophy with intuitive symbolism. Some cards show Hindu deities such as Ganesha or Shiva, others show power animals or symbols such as lotus flowers and sacred geometry. The imagery is figurative and colourful, not abstract.
The cards are arranged by chakra colour. Root chakra cards are red, heart chakra cards are green, and so on. That makes it easy to work specifically with one chakra during meditations or healing sessions.
Who this is designed for
This deck is set up for anyone working with chakras or wanting to learn. The 104-page guidebook contains interpretations for each card and practical exercises to release blockages. It is accessible enough for beginners, and concrete enough for those already engaged in energy work.
The cards are 95 x 140 mm, sturdy cardstock. The format sits comfortably in the hand and is large enough to let the imagery come through clearly.
Draw a card during your yoga practice or meditation and focus on the corresponding colour and symbol to activate the chakra energy in your body.
