Giacomo Guccinelli has visualised the classic archetypes from Carl Jung's work with sharp, modern imagery. Giacomo Guccinelli works as conceptual artist, illustrator and teacher at the Sign Comics & Arts Academy. Besides his artistic practice he is a trainer in human rights and founder of the Steam Factory Creative Team.
His background in both art and social engagement gives this deck a different tone than many esoteric oracles. The images are psychologically charged, but also human and accessible.
Do I need to know Jung to use this deck?
No. The guidebook gives sufficient context. The images also speak without theoretical knowledge, because archetypes are universal patterns that everyone recognises from their own experience.
