Begin with the traditional 36 cards and add the extra cards step by step. That way you extend your Lenormand system naturally, without losing the symbolic language you know.
Can I also use this deck for traditional Lenormand spreads?
Yes, the Lustrous Lenormand contains all 36 classic Lenormand cards with their familiar meanings. You can work with just those and keep the eleven extra cards aside. The guidebook explains both traditional and extended spread techniques.
Are the extra eleven cards hard to interpret?
The extra cards, such as the Bridge, the Fountain and the Masks, fit logically into Lenormand symbolism. Toni Savory's guidebook explains their meanings in detail and shows how they enrich the traditional system. Most of the symbols are intuitive and extend your interpretive options naturally.
